Hello there. I'm Gina and I'll be your panel moderator in March.
I quit my full-time job and went freelance 4 years ago. These days most of my time is spent writing Lifehacker, a blog on software and productivity published by Gawker Media. I also write for a few magazines here and there, and my first book (also titled Lifehacker) just came out. I'm originally a programmer and web developer, so when I'm not writing I'm coding web sites and other doodads. I keep an updated log of recent career happenings at my name site, Gina Trapani.org.
This is my third time at SXSW, my third time on a panel, but my first time as a moderator. Looking forward to it!
